WITH leaders Cambrian & Clydach in cup action, and Afan Lido's Friday night game postponed, Cardiff Corries missed their chance to take over at the top of Welsh League Division One. The capital outfit were held to a 1-1 away draw at Cwmbran Celtic in one just four league games played. Caldicot Town eased themselves away from the drop zone with a 5-1 home win over strugglers Garden Village, but Pontardawe slipped into the danger area after a 2-1 defeat at Penrhiwceiber Rangers. Swansea outfit West End were 4-1 away winners at Caerau (Ely). |
