CAMBRIAN & Clydach maintained the pressure on Welsh League leaders Afan Lido with a 3-2 win over Cardiff Corries. Vale moved into second place, three points adrift but with three games in hand, with goals from Gareth Welsh, Jason Bertorelli and Mike Jones. Taffs Well won 3-0 away at rock-bottom Garden Village thanks to second-half goals from David Biggs and two from Jason Welsh. Pontardawe also won away, beating Cwmbran Celtic 3-1, while reigning champions Goytre United beat Barry Town by the same score with Gareth Cullimore, Jason Thorne and Jacob Daley netting for United and James Saddler grabbing a consolation for the Dragons. |
