AFAN Lido's reign at the top of the Welsh League Division One was ended when Bryntirion Athletic took over with a 3-0 win over Cardiff Corries. The Bridgend side notched a recent victory over their rivals and also have two games in hand on the Lido. Following a goalless first half, Jonathan Cuss broke the deadlock in the 48th minute and doubled the lead on the hour with a fifth goal of the campaign, while a Brian Burke header on 75 minutes sealed an important victory for Francis Ford's side. |
