CAMBRIAN & Clydach went down to their first league defeat of the season as league leaders Bryntirion prevailed in the Rhondda.The visitors ran out 3-0 winners with a brace from Anthony Rawlings (pictured) and another from Jonathan Cuss. Second-placed Afan Lido returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win at Cwmbran Celtic, despite being second best to the Gwent outfit for much of the game. Mark Jones put Lido in front after 14 minutes but Joey Carliss soon levelled for the hosts, before Sam Small got the winner after 73 minutes. Third-placed Cardiff Corries lost ground on the leaders after a surprise 3-0 defeat at mid-table Pontardawe Town. |
