AFAN Lido cemented second spot in the Welsh League First Division with a 3-0 win at Bridgend Town, whose own promotion hopes have taken another serious dent.Nathan White opened the scoring for the visitors after 10 minutes, with former Swan Andrew Mumford (pictured) firing in a 25-yard free-kick for the second. And a stoppage time goal from sub Remi Whitelock sealed the win to leave Lido 10 points behind leaders Bryntirion Athletic, but with two games in hand. It was the Brewerymen's fourth defeat in five games and they have won just one point from the last 15 on offer. |
