AFAN Lido strengthened their promotion bid with a 2-1 Tuesday night home Welsh League win over Cardiff Corries. Lido's Mark Jones had a penalty well saved on 27 minutes before Sam Small opened the scoring on 32 minutes. A minute later Corries' Dan Hooper equalised with a penalty before Ryan Morgan scored what proved to be the winner for the Lido on 42 minutes. Cambrian & Clydach kept in the championship race with a 3-0 win over visiting Taffs Well, Liam Hutchinson, Jason Bertorelli and Ian Thomas on target for the home side. Garden Village climbed off the bottom of the table for the first time since late October following a goalless draw with visiting Cwmbran Celtic. |
