BARRY Town continued their charge to the Welsh League title with a 2-1 home win over fancied rivals Goytre United. Goals from Nicky Jones and Jacob Daley secured the points, but second-placed Bettws maintained the pressure with a 2-0 win at Newport YMCA. ENTO Aberaman benefited from Goytre's defeat as they closed the gap with a 4-1 defeat of 10-man Croesyceiliog, goals from Jody Jenkins, Mattie Davies, Richard Ryan and Rob Blatchford settling the contest. |
