CWMBRAN Celtic's search to find a replacement for manager Ben Graham will complete a massive off-the-field shake up for the county's top domestic football club. Graham's shock resignation from MacWhirter Welsh League outfit comes just weeks after the former Cwmbran Town and Ebbw Vale defender guided the club to Division One safety in its debut top-flight campaign and hard on the heels of sweeping board-room changes. Graham sited increased work load as a locally-based firefighter to end his one-season tenure as boss of the Celtic Park club. "I have decided to stand down as manager because of my work commitments, but have told the club I am still available to it as a player," revealed Graham, a former Cardiff City professional. Graham's assistant, Della Cheedy, said he is aware that Graham has left the managerial post, but when asked if he was interested in taking over, only issued a friendly "no comment." |
