CAMBRIAN and Clydach earned an emphatic 3-0 win at reigning champions Bryntirion Athletic and stand top of the Welsh League. In an excellent display from the Rhondda outfit, the visitors took control after the break with Jason Bertorelli netting his ninth goal of the season and Dane Williams and Jamie Rewbury the other goal scorers. Barry Town drew 1-1 at home against Aberaman Athletic, while Bridgend Town stormed to a 5-1 win at Caerau Ely. Taffs Well, who have re-signed former Newport County Academy and Cwmbran Town player Tyrone Toppar from Afan Lido, were 4-3 winners at Haverfordwest County. There was controversy when Phil Cattlin received a yellow card for entering the field as a half-time sub without the referee being informed and then being sent-off for a second caution later in the game.
