Indian summer for Chris
Sunday 19 April 2009
Chris SummersWITH 177 goals from 243 appearances, Chris Summers is second on the Welsh Premier's all-time goal scorers list.
And the 35-year-old marksman is targetting a return with Welsh League promotion aspirants ENTO Aberaman, who went second in the table following a 3-1 win at Bridgend Town.
Summers netted twice either side of a Grant Thomas penalty to send the Aberdare outfit into second place.
Barry Town, who have not applied for promotion, still lead the way despite being held to a 1-1 draw at home to fourth-placed Bettws.
Anthony Rawlings headed the visitors into an 11th-minute lead but, after losing Dean Simmons to a red card, they conceded an equaliser to Nicky Jones.
