ENTO Aberaman hit the top of the Welsh League on Wednesday night with a 2-1 home win over ex-Welsh Premier outfit Ton Pentre. The victory guarantees the Aberdare club a top-two finish, qualifying for promotion to the Welsh Premier, provided their Aberaman Park home passes an inspection to meet the league's ground criteria. The stadium does not currently have floodlights, but there are plans to install them during the close season. If the club does meet all the criteria it spells bad news for 17th-placed Caersws, who will be relegated to the Cymru Alliance along with Caernarfon Town. Former Port Talbot frontman Richard Ryan and Dean Morris scored the ENTO goals. |
