ENTO Aberaman Athletic and Goytre meet in a MacWhirter Welsh Football League title shoot-out at Glenhafod Park on Wednesday night (7.30pm). Aberaman are top and already in line for promotion to the Welsh Premier League – once they have installed floodlights at their ground – while Goytre are out to win the title for a third time in four seasons. Reigning champions Goytre, who have already beaten Aberaman 2-0 away, did not apply for promotion and cannot go up, and are currently two points behind Aberaman with three matches each left. Aberaman, who were without a match over the weekend, will be missing Dan Hooper, but apart from that will be at full strength. ENTO's remaining fixtures after tonight’s clash are against Newport YMCA at home on Saturday and then Dinas Powys away on Saturday May 16. The Goyts must still play Croesyceiliog (home) and Cardiff Corries away (at Caerau Ely on Wednesday May 13). |
