GOYTRE United were held to a 1-1 draw by Cardiff Corries at Caerau Ely on Wednesday night, leaving the door open for ENTO Aberaman to claim their first-ever Welsh League title. Ian Morgan gave the visitors a 40th-minute lead with a header, but Jonathan Knight levelled for Corries in the second-half after Goytre keeper Chris Curtis was caught in no-man's land. An off-side flag ruled-out a potential late winner for United, and Aberaman now go into their final game at Dinas Powys on Saturday knowing that a win would claim the crown. But the visitors have injury woes, with Mike Jones definitely ruled out, Dan Hooper and Dean Morris struggling and Danny Street away on holiday. |
