Chris SharpCHRIS Sharp fired a hat-trick as Bangor City made it five wins in a row against Elements Cefn Druids on Friday night.
The Welsh Premier League finally got back into action at Farrar Road after a two week weather-induced break at Farrar Road, with Chris Sharp firing the hosts two goals to the good before half-time.
The Ancients threatened a comeback when Josh Griffiths scored seven minutes after the break, but Sharp ensured the spoils with his third goal from the penalty spot after 73 minutes when Dan Barnett was adjudged to have fouled Jamie Reed.
Nicky Ward made his debut for the home side following his transfer from Newtown, while Druids handed first starts to on-loan TNS defender Sean Jones and midfielder Gareth Caughter.
The victory lifted City into sixth place in the table, while the visitors still languish next-bottom.
