 AARON Burns, the only Northwich Victoria forward not to score a goal this season, will spend the rest of the campaign on loan at Gap Connah’s Quay.The former Manchester United junior, 22, has made only three starts for the Vics this season, spending two months on loan at Altrincham earlier in the campaign. But he has fallen down the pecking order in Andy Preece’s plans following the arrival of Brian Dutton from Harrogate Town and teenager James Spencer from Huddersfield Town. With top scorer Mark Danks due to return from suspension shortly and Jonny Allan hoping to return to action next month, Burns is unlikely to force his way into the reckoning before the end of the season. and is available to play for Mark McGregor’s men in their trip to high-fliers Rhyl this weekend. |
