Caersws swoop for ex-Port Vale defender

Steve Rowland CAERSWS have signed defender Steve Rowland, who made more than 120 Football League appearances for Port Vale.
The 28-year-old Wrexham born player started his career with the Potteries outfit and rose through the junior ranks before signing professional for the start of the 2001/2 season.
He was released from Vale Park at the end of the 2005/6 campaign by manager Martin Foyle and signed for Southport, where he made 34 league appearances before departing in April 2007.
