BANGOR City cruised past Airbus UK Broughton on Wednesday night to consolidate sixth position in the Welsh Premier. The game at The Airfield was over as a contest inside the first 12 minutes, with Jamie Reed scoring in the fifth and 12th-minutes, either side of a sixth-minute effort from midfielder Craig Garside. Eddie Jebb added a fourth on the hour mark, his first for the Citizens since joining from Colwyn Bay in the January transfer window. Airbus pulled a consolation goal back through Carl Owen on 82 minutes, but Reed then completed his hat-trick in stoppage time to join Rhys Griffiths on 19 goals at the head of the race for the Golden Boot. It was a disappointing result for the Wingmakers who remain in seventh place, but have several clubs breathing down their necks for a top-ten finish. They were also forced to play the last 20 minutes with 10-men after injuries to keeper Kris Rogers - who was replaced by Gareth Sudlow - Matty Woodward, Marc Lloyd Williams and Jamie Smith.
