MANAGER Neil Gibson and seven members of the Prestatyn Town squad that secured a place in next season's Welsh Premier have pledged to stay at Bastion Road for next season.Apart from Gibson, the seven that have so far put pen to paper and committed to a new deal are Dave Hayes, Steve Harris, Gareth Wilson, Paul O'Neill, skipper Mike Parker, long-serving defender Russ Jones and left-back Jack Lewis. All have committed to a one-year deal apart from O'Neill, who has signed a two-year contract, and told the club's website: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my first season at Prestatyn and am delighted to be committing myself to the club for the next two years. "With the ambition shown by the chairman, board and manager both on and off the pitch, I have no doubt that we will continue to improve and further establish ourselves as a force to be reckoned within the Welsh Premier League. Chairman Tony and Gibson are due to hold talks with the remainder of the squad over the next week or so. "The fact that these players are committing to us for a further year, and in Paul's case two, is great news for us," says club president Mike Walsh. "We are building for the future here and the fact that players of this calibre are willing to sign on the dotted line so early in the closed season shows just how far we have come as a club."
