Fowler and HughesNEATH have made a double raid on Carmarthen Town to sign midfielder Paul Fowler and striker Craig Hughes.
Previously with Bridgend Street, 24-year-old Fowler has scored 15 goals from 116 (+1) appearances since joining Carmarthen in November 2006 and has gone on to win Welsh Under-23 semi-professional honours.
He was also named on the substitutes' bench in the 2008/9 and 2009/10 league managers' team of the season.
Hughes, 31, managed just one goal for the Old Gold in an injury-dogged 2009/10 season after notching 11 in the previous campaign since returning to the Welsh Premier in January 2009 from a successful spell with Newport County.
Formerly also with Barry Town, Cwmbran and Port Talbot, the marksman has a total of 55 domestic league goals to his credit from 105 (+30) appearances.
"This is a good start to what I want here next year and I am delighted with these two signings," says Neath boss Andy Dyer.
