 WELSH Cup prize money will be increased next season, with the winners banking £30,000.And, in a further boost for the 12 Welsh Premier clubs, they will now be exempt until the third round on Saturday November 6, a stage later than in previous seasons, with a guaranteed £1,500 even if they are eliminated. Total cup prize money last season was £132,000, with £25,000 going to winners Bangor City. The fund has now been increased to £167,000, provided the FAW Council rubber-stamps the recommendations next month. CONFERENCE DATES Qualifying Round 1 - Saturday August 14 Qualifying Round 2 - Saturday August 28 Round One - Saturday September 11 Round Two - Saturday October 2 (Losers receive £750) Round Three - Saturday November 6 (Losers receive £1,500) Round Four - Saturday January 29 (Losers receive £2,500) Round Five - Saturday February 26 (Losers receive £6,000) Semi Final - Saturday April 9 (Losers receive £12,500) Final - Saturday May 7 (Losers receive £20,000).
