| Rhyl duo sign two-year deals |

AFTER signing a three-year deal to stay as Rhyl manager, Greg Strong has secured the services of two key players for next season.Central-back Shaun Dowling and winger Andrew Pearson have both signed two year contracts for the relegated Belle Vue outfit. Liverpool-born Dowling, 20, was released by Chester City at the end of season 2008/9 and joined the Lilywhites, impressing in his debut campaign with 22 Welsh Premier appearances. Pearson, 21, started his career with Urmston as a striker before joining the Bolton Wanderers' youth set-up. Later a mainstay of the youth team at Wigan Athletic, he made regular appearances in the reserves before joining Altrincham in August 2009, where he made 1 (+5) Blue Square Premier appearances before his release in January 2010.
