 SHANE Sutton marked his return to Newtown with two stunning second half strikes as the Robins won 5-0 at Treflan, the home of Llansantffraid Village.The Mid Wales League outfit hit the bar from the kick-off with keeper Dave Roberts beaten, but Jamie Breeze broke clear from the rebound and ran through to net a great goal. Paul Roberts added the second and Adam Worton struck his third of the pre-season build up with the help of a deflection on half-time. Sutton (pictured) then crashed home two great strikes in the final quarter to see off the plucky Saints. Airbus UK Broughton beat reigning Huws Gray Alliance champions Llangefni Town 2-1 at The Airfield with Tom Rowlands and Jake Cassidy the scorers for the hosts. |
