He transferred to Aberystwyth Town in November 2005 but left to join Merthyr Tydfil in the summer of 2006 and signed dual forms for Newtown in March 2007 while playing at Pontypridd.
Also arriving at the Southern League Division One South and West outfit is Dale Evans, another former Crows' player, who played in the Newport County Alliance side after moving from the Bristol Rovers youth set-up.
The 22-year-old moved on to Welsh League Division One outfit Croesyceiliog in November 2006 and was a close season signing for Neath Athletic ahead of their first season in the Welsh Premier, completing a total of 23 (+5) Welsh Premier appearances before his release from The Gnoll.
