AIRBUS UK Broughton manager Craig Harrison hailed his side for their 3-1 victory over Aberystwyth Town on Saturday. Delighted with the Wingmakers' start to the new campaign, Harrison said: "We have bounced back well from our opening defeat to Llanelli with two good wins and I’m pleased with the way the team is shaping up. "To win 4-1 at Carmarthen and follow that up with a good win against an Aberystwyth side who should finish in the top six is a great credit to the lads. "We were unlucky to lose to Llanelli. Their keeper played a blinder and you can't legislate for that but six points is a good response." Andy Moran opened the home side's account on the stroke of half-time from the penalty spot, seconds after Carl Owen's spot-kick had been well-saved by Seasiders' keeper Steve Cann. Luke Sherbon's handball offence gave Airbus a second chance and Moran put his miss against Llanelli to the back of his mind as he converted well, before laying on the second goal for Owen after the break. In contrast, Prestatyn Town player-boss Neil Gibson was disappointed with a 1-0 defeat at high-flyers Newtown. “We had the lion’s share of possession, but to be honest we weren’t good enough to break them down,” was Gibson’s assessment of the Seasiders’ display at a ground where they lost to Bangor in a Welsh Cup semi-final last season. "Ultimately, if you can’t break teams down you’re not going to get anything out of a game," he added. Paul Keddle's 12th-minute strike was enough to secure the points for the Robins, who remain unbeaten, while the visitors have lost twice on the road.
