 REFEREE Darren Adie is unlikely to be on manager Mark Jones's Christmas card list after the Steelmen crashed 2-0 at The Airfield. An excellent and evenly-contested first-half ended goal-less, but the face of the game was changed by two controversial decisions by the Caldicot official. He dismissed Karl Lewis for violent conduct on the advice of an assistant and then awarded a disputed spot kick for a foul on Jack Abraham by keeper Lee Kendall. Moran despatched the Wingmakers' sixth penalty of the season and the win was sealed when Carl Owen, who had just struck a post, made no mistake following a left-wing set piece. Airbus moved into second place behind leaders Bangor City, who also took advantage of a penalty award, their fifth of the campaign. Defender Dave Morley converted for the only goal of the game at Carmarthen Town's Richmond Park after sub Antonio Faccuito was harshly adjudged to have brought down Jamie Reed three minutes after half-time. The Old Gold had several chances to level, notably from Keiran Howard and Craig Frater, but found City keeper Paul Smith in top form. A solitary goal from Jay McCarten on the stroke of half-time gave Aberystwyth Town a 1-0 home win over Prestatyn Town at Park Avenue.
