Jamie ReedTWO of Bangor City’s leading players have committed their future to the club with midfielder Craig Garside and forward Jamie Reed signing contracts to the end of the 2012-13 season.
Former Everton apprentice Garside has been a commanding presence in the City midfield over the last year, whilst Reed was the club’s top scorer last season and has enjoyed a successful summer playing for Dandenong Thunder in Australian football.
Welcoming the players’ decision, City manager Neville Powell said, "The commitment shown by Craig and Jamie shows the level of ambition we have at the club as we look forward to building on the success of recent seasons.
"I am also in contract negotiations with other players at the club and hope to secure their signatures in the coming weeks.
"The squad of players that we currently have at Bangor City is amongst the best that I have had since being a manager and it is a pleasure to work with them on a regular basis.
"Their dedication and enthusiasm clearly shows how passionate they are about being part of a successful Bangor City."
