Udo NowkoNEATH unveiled two new signings in their squad to face TNS on Saturday, which they had managed to keep under wraps since the transfer window closed.
Nigerian-born Udo Nwoko, 27, has experienced a journeyman career since moved to Malta at the age of 14 in the hope that it could one day lead him to one of the top leagues in Europe.
After staring his career with Hibernians, he also played in Gozo with Xewkija Tigers and back in Malta with Mosta and Hibernians again before moving to Marsaxlokk for the remainder of 2007.
In 2007, he signed for Portuguese club Leixoes, scoring on his debut against Benfica and was linked with a £1.25m transfer to Premiership club Reading in January 2008.
But an injury prevented the transfer and he signed a short contract with Brazilian outfit Clube Nautico Capibaribe.
After spending time in Greece and Cyprus with Panthrakikos and Doxa Katokopia he signed for Pas Hamedan in the Iran Pro League.
Nwoko was called up by Malta for the first time ahead of UEFA Euro 2008 qualifying matches against Hungary in October 2007 and has been capped nine times by the island.
Making his debut in the Eagles' starting line-up at Park Hall was midfielder Joe Holt, who came through the youth ranks to the first team squad at Wigan Athletic.
Released from the DW Stadium he trialled with Plymouth Argyle, Tranmere Rovers and MK Dons before joining his ex-academy boss at Wigan at Cammell Laird.
