Jones signs another striker for the Steelmen

PORT Talbot manager Mark Jones has made his seventh signing of the close season with the arrival of striker Jeff White.

The 24-year-old joins from the Welsh League Division Three just days after the Steelmen completed the signing of seven-times Welsh Premier Golden Boot Rhys Griffiths.

"He was with Bridgend Street last year in the Welsh Leagues, where he scored quite a few goals," says Jones. 

"He's a bit late coming to the game but he's a strong centre-forward.

"I’ve had my eye on him for a while and have watched him quite a few times, he is looking to make the step up to the Welsh Premier."
