Rob TurnerRECENT signing Rob Turner struck the winning goal against Airbus UK to cement Rhyl in third spot in the Welsh Premier.
The former Sligo Rovers frontman (pictured) struck in the 78th-minute as the 10-man Lilywhites completed a fightback after going a goal down to a Ryan Edwards penalty after 22 minutes when Marc Lloyd Williams was brought down in the box.
The hosts had sub winger Chris Williams red-carded on 33 minutes after just seven minutes on the pitch, but Matty Williams hauled them level, also from the penalty spot, after he was fouled by Ashley Williams nine minutes before half-time.
The win took Rhyl two points clear of fourth-placed Aberystwyth Town, who were forced to settle for a point in a 1-1 draw against Neath at Park Avenue.
Luke Sherbon put the Seasiders ahead, heading home from a Geoff Kellaway corner on the stroke of half-time, but on-loan Grimsby Town striker Chris Jones netted his fourth goal in two games following Ian Hillier's long throw two minutes after the restart to earn the Eagles a share of the spoils and sixth place.
