AFAN Lido produced the only shock of the Welsh Cup fourth round by beating Welsh Premier Gap Connah's Quay 2-1 in extra-time. The former top flight outfit and Welsh league high-flyers fell behind to a Sam McNutt goal on 69 minutes at the Marstons' Stadium. But Mark Jones snatched an equaliser four minutes from the end of normal time, and Nathan White won it for Lido in the extra period. Port Talbot won the match of the day, 2-0 at Park Avenue, home of last season's beaten finalists Aberystwyth Town. Liam McCreesh opened the Steelmen's account after five minutes, with defender Leigh De-Vulgt sealing the win in the second-half. Bala won another all-Welsh Premier clash 2-0 at home to bottom club Caersws, with two early goals from Ricky Evans, while a Jon Fisher Cooke goal 10 minutes from time put Prestatyn into the last eight at the expense of Porthmadog in a 1-0 win. Aberaman threatened an upset after leading 1-0 at Bangor City's Farrar Road with a Jon Phillips goal, but Jamie Reed bagged a brace in a 3-1 win. The New Saints won 6-0 at Welsh Alliance Llandudno Junction with Steve Abbott and Chris Seargeant both scoring twice, while Rhyl went one better with a 7-0 defeat of Welsh Leaguers Pontardawe Town in which John Leah scored three and Marc Connolly a brace in his last game before joining Colwyn Bay. Llanelli cruised past Holyhead Hotspur 4-0 at Stebonheath Park with goals from Chris Venables, Jordan Follows, Rhys Griffiths and Antonio Corbisiero.
