McGregor fumes over late postponement

Plas KynastonGAP Connah’s Quay manager Mark McGregor believes Tuesday’s vital Welsh Premier League clash with Elements Cefn Druids should have gone ahead.
The decision to call off the game was taken by referee Lee Evans after Nomads' officials had arrived at Druids’ Plas Kynaston Lane ground, which was covered with snow.
It means that Nomads, who are currently 14th - and eight points from reaching the Super 12 positions - face a more congested fixture schedule at a time when results are priceless.
"We were really disappointed the game was called off. The referee just didn’t give it a chance. He put one foot on the pitch and said ‘no’," McGregor told the Flintshire Chronicle.
"A lot of people made sacrifices to get to the game and we even offered to clear the lines but he didn’t want to give it a chance.
"We have been looking forward to these three games but to have one of them called off was really disappointing."
