PORT Talbot's leading scorer Liam McCreesh has been banned for a total of five games by the FAW.The 24-year-old midfielder was sent-off in the Steelmen's 3-0 victory over Technogroup Welshpool last Saturday, his second red card of the campaign. McCreesh, who has scored 11 Welsh Premier goals from 19 (+1) appearances this season, receives a three-match ban with effect from February 21 for the straight red and a further two-match suspension starting on March 6. He misses the Welsh Cup quarter-final tie at The New Saints and league fixtures against Carmarthen, Llanelli, Airbus UK and Newtown. |
