| Griffiths puts a dent in Nomads' hopes |

MARK Griffiths scored his second winning goal in four days as Caersws frustrated Connah's Quay's Super 12 ambitions at the Recreation Ground. Frustrated by two postponements last week, the Nomads - who have played only 21 games - are currently in 14th-place and failed to close the 14-point gap on the top 10. Griffiths (pictured), who scored the Bluebirds' late winner at home to Elements Cefn Druids on Saturday, struck after 41 minutes to give the hosts their third win of the campaign. It was a bad start for Ken Price, who took charge of the Deesiders for the first time after swopping places with manager Mark McGregor. |
