Welsh Premier League Football - Reds' win marred by racist taunts

LLANELLI'S win over Port Talbot at Stebonheath Park on Tuesday night was marred by racist abuse aimed at the Steelmen's Drew Fahiya.
The Reds were quick to issue a statement after the game with chairman Nitin Parekh saying: "Llanelli Football Club will not tolerate any form of racial abuse aimed towards any player, official or supporter.
"We would like to apologise to Port Talbot FC and their player Drew Fahiya for the embarrassment caused by a minority of our supporters at the game.
"If we can identify the people concerned, they will be banned for life from the ground and the club.
"This incident comes after the club recently held a "Kick Racism Out of Football" seminar at the social club and are actively involved in supporting the campaign.
"The club will take the appropriate steps to ensure that such an incident never happens at the ground again."
Two years ago, Porthmadog were fined more than £13,000 and deducted three points by the FAW after a supporter made racist comments to an assistant referee.
