Ex-Premier duo in AFC Telford trials

Martyn NaylorFORMER TNS and Rhyl wing-back Martyn Naylor and ex-Newtown and Welshpool goalkeeper Dave Maguire are both being given trials by AFC Telford United.
Naylor, 32, spent the whole of last season with the Lilywhites, making 16 (+5) Welsh Premier appearances, having spent the previous campaign with Telford - his second spell at the New Bucks Head.
He joined TNS in 2002/3 after also having played for Bilston, Greenock Morton, Shrewsbury and Hereford and spent six seasons with the Saints, scoring 13 goals from 101 (+17) appearances in the domestic league, before being released in April 2008.
Bucks' manager Andy Sinton is also running the rule over two young goalkeepers as he looks to find a rival for number one Ryan Young.
Former Shrewsbury youngster Maguire, 19, is a Republic of Ireland Under-17 international who joined Newtown last August before leaving for Welshpool in mid-season and made 28 starts in the domestic league.
Sinton is eager to sign up a second goalkeeper so that Young is given some competition for his place in the starting line-up.
