Martyn NaylorWING-BACK Martyn Naylor has returned to AFC Telford United for a fourth time after spending last season at Rhyl, and the Bucks have also signed former Aberystwyth Town wingman Sean Evans.
"Full-back Martyn Naylor has agreed and we just need to get the paperwork done. Left-winger Sean Evans has agreed on a non-contract basis," says Telford boss Andy Sinton.
Naylor arrived in the Welsh Premier with TNS in 2002/3 after playing with Bilston, Greenock Morton and Hereford as well as Telford.
Released at the end of 2005/6, he returned for the new season on non-contract terms and spent two more years with the club, before being released again in April 2008.
After another season at the New Bucks Head, he was released and joined the Lilywhites, completing a career total of 13 goals from 117 (+22) domestic league appearances.
Evans, who is the son of former Caersws player Mark Evans, joined Manchester United from Shrewsbury Town as a youth and featured regularly in the reserves at Old Trafford.
He spent time with Inverness Caledonian Thistle but failed to win a contract and joined Aberystwyth in August 2008 from his hometown club Ludlow, making six (+5) Welsh Premier appearances.
Evans, who has dual nationality, was monitored by Wales during his days with United, but turned down the opportunity to be called up for Under-21 duty.
