| Alarm bells already ringing at Carmarthen |
| Monday 23 August 2010 |
THE alarm bells are already ringing at Richmond Park after only 180 minutes of football have left Carmarthen Town pointless. Back-to-back home defeats at the hands of Aberystwyth Town and Airbus UK Broughton have exposed the inadequacies of the Old Gold's resources and new boss Tomi Morgan (pictured) says new faces will arrive before the transfer deadline. "We were very disappointing," admitted Morgan to the South Wales Evening Post. "When we lost to Aberystwyth last week there were positives and we performed quite well, but there were no positives today. We were comprehensively beaten and gifted them all four goals. "At this level errors will be punished and we are making far too many mistakes. "There will be a number of changes for Friday's match at Port Talbot and I'll be looking for new faces, but there aren't too many about." Morgan added: "The super league will start to take shape after five or six matches and there will be indications of which clubs will be in the top and bottom six. "I've been down this alley before. It's not new to me. Let's hope it's not a dead-end alley." |
