ONE of Carmarthen Town's summer signings, Kevin Davies has suffered another blow after missing the first three games of the season through suspension.Full-back Davies was taking to hospital suffering from a burst appendix and was operated on Sunday morning, meaning he will be out of action for a further four to six weeks. The six-foot tall defender who can play at left-back or right-back joined the Old Gold this summer from Cinderford Town. He previously made 19 (+1) appearances in the Welsh Premier after joining Welshpool Town from Southern League outfit Clevedon Town in 2008 and then playing briefly for Caersws last season. Davies also has previous experience at Weston-super-Mare, Swindon Town, Swansea City, Cirencester Town and Merthyr Tydfil. |
