BALA Town manager Colin Caton has solved a goalkeeping crisis at Maes Tegid by re-signing former gloveman Matthew Boswell. The 34-year-old, who had previous Welsh Premier experience with Newtown as a youngster, played for a host of clubs, including Greenock Morton, Kidderminster, Barnet, Shrewsbury Town, Bradford Park Avenue and Burscough, before joining the Lakesiders for the second time in the summer of 2009. He made just four appearances for Bala in season 2009/10 but will be in goal for the Welsh Cup tie at Buckley Town, with regular first choice Terry McCormick banned and deputy Mark Pullman injured. |
