AIRBUS UK Broughton manager Andy Preece has made his first signing since arriving at The Airfield, but stalwart Mark Allen is departing.Attacking midfielder Luke Mack arrives from Blue Square North outfit Hyde FC and will go straight into the Wingmakers' squad for the Welsh Cup visit to Afan Lido provided international clearance is received in time. Mack, who previously played for Maine Road, had been watched by Preece last season whilst starring for Curzon Ashton in Evo Stick League Division One North, but subsequently left the Manchester club with manager Gary Lowe when he took the reins at Hyde in the summer. He can play on either flank and scores goals from midfield. Meanwhile, Airbus have agreed to terminate the contract of Mark Allen by mutual consent. "Mark has been a fantastic servant to Airbus and indeed the other clubs he has played for at WP Level, you don’t play over 380 games if you`re not a good player," says chief operating officer Stewart Roberts. "Not only that, but Mark is a true professional in everything that he does, a credit to Welsh Football. "He wants to play regularly and I am sure someone will snap him up very quickly." A central defender and ex-Watford reserve who signed for Cefn Druids from Bangor City in December 1999, Allen joined Airbus in November 2006 from Newtown and has racked-up a total of 385 (+34) WPL appearances, scoring 30 goals.
