Defender Johnson leaves Park Hall

Jermaine JohnsonTHE New Saints have cancelled the contract of Jermaine Johnson by mutual consent and the central defender has joined Hednesford Town of the Evo Stik Premier League.
A London-born centre-half who started his career as a Chelsea youth before becoming a trainee with Derby County, the 21-year-old was the first signing of the summer for then TNS director of football Mike Davies from Stafford Rangers, at a time when the club's central defensive options were limited.
He made his debut as a 38th-minute substitute for Phil Baker and performed heroically as TNS won their Europa League first qualifying round second leg tie at Cliftonville's Solitude Stadium in July.
Johnson was loaned to Newtown in October and made seven Welsh Premier starts in a spell blighted by two red cards.
