THE Welsh Premier's winter break will continue for another 24 hours at least after Afan Lido's home fixture with Aberystwyth Town on Friday night was postponed due to a frozen pitch at the Marston's Stadium.Bala's home game with Llanelli has been postponed due to a frozen Maes Tegid pitch and has been re-arranged for Easter Monday, April 9. Newtown's crucial basement battle with Carmarthen Town is also off following an inspection at Latham Park today. The live TV game between Bangor City and Prestatyn is also off, while Airbus UK Broughton will inspect tomorrow with Sunday's home game against Port Talbot Town at The Airfield already in doubt. |
