HOLDERS The New Saints have been grouped with runners-up Bangor City and mid-Wales rivals Newtown in the 2009/10 Loosemores League Cup.
In the last competition to be played in the current group stage format before the introduction of "Super 12" next year, the Citizens have an early chance for revenge after losing 2-0 to TNS in last season's final. Welsh Premier champions Rhyl and neighbours Prestatyn Town have the prospect of two bumper gates after being paired with each other in Group 4, along with Airbus UK Broughton. Newcomers Bala Town also have two local derbies with Elements Cefn Druids and Technogroup Welshpool. The six group winners and the two best runners-up will qualify for the last eight. The league will release fixtures on Tuesday.
