WELSHPOOL Town will move to a brand new stadium inside the next five years.
Chairman Steve Hughes
says the club is on track to vacate its much-criticised Maesydre home as part
of a five-year plan.
"The club is in a very healthy financial position and has a strong administrative
setup," says Hughes.
Pool gained a Uefa Club Licence for the first time last year and the club is
keen to maintain a momentum which has seen them occupy a top three position for
some time, with Europe a realistic ambition.
However, manager Tomi Morgan urged caution when he said: "All this talk of qualifying
for Europe is pie in the sky until the end of the season.
"We are playing good football as we have for most of the season, but we must
keep this run going." 26 January 2006
