LLANGEFNI Town have confirmed that they have parted company with manager Alex Kevan after just one month at the helm.
The Welsh Premier's bottom club brought in the former Colwyn Bay midfielder to succeed the sacked Adie Jones at Christmas, since when the Anglesey outfit has picked up three points against fellow relegation battlers Porthmadog.
Kevan, the youngest manager in the Welsh Premier, played with Burnley and Hereford United in the Football League, before appearing for Lancaster City, Droylsden, Marine and Witton Albion, as well as Colwyn.
He had brought in former Liverpool and Middlesbrough legend Phil Boersma as his assistant and several new players, losing some members of the existing squad to other clubs in the Welsh Premier and on the island.
Kevan had intended to resume his playing career with Llangefni once recovered from a long-term ankle injury but did not make an appearance during his short time with the club.
