RHYL'S Josh Johnson has received his first call-up for the Trinidad and Tobago international
squad.
The 27-year-old former Wrexham winger, who joined the Lilywhites in the summer and has scored
once from seven Welsh Premier appearances, is in the squad to face Cuba in the Soca Warriors'
World Cup qualifier on November 19.
It is Johnson's first call-up for the senior squad, although he has represented Trinidad and
Tobago at UNder-20 level in the past.
A free-scoring right winger for San Juan Jablodeh in his native Trinidad, he won a full-time
contract at Wrexham after arriving for a trial in the summer of 2006, but was released from
the Racecourse at the end of season 2007/8 after making 10 (+19) Football League appearances. 6 November 2008
