Joined Wolves as a youth trainee and made his first team debut in 1994. Made 104 appearances for the club before leaving in October 1997 as part of the deal that saw Dougie Freedman and Kevin Muscat move to Molineux from Premier League Crystal Palace. He remained at Selhurst Park for seven seasons adding 175 appearances, joining Bristol City on a free transfer. Ended the following season on loan at Brentford and was signed by his former Bees' manager Martin Allen at the Milton Keynes Dons. Came out of retirement and played for Halesown Town before joining Airbus UK as a player in January 2010 after spending some time with the club the previous season in a coaching capacity.
