Not in Welsh Premier
Known as Jiws, the Welsh Premier's all-time record goal scorer signed for TNS in season 2004/5 after scoring 176 Welsh Premier goals for Porthmadog, Bangor City (where he won a championship medal) and Aberystwyth. Moved from Bangor to the Football League with Stockport County, Halifax and York City. Returned to Farrar Road to break the league goal-scoring record with 47 in 2001/2 and would have won the European Golden Boot award had Wales enjoyed a higher Uefa coefficient. A Wales 'B' and semi-professional international, became the first to score 200 Welsh Premier goals at Caernarfon in January 2005, also breaking the TNS club scoring record and again winning the league's Golden Boot award with 34 goals. Released by TNS at the end of season 2005/6, he returned to Bangor but was released at the end of 2006/7 and joined Newtown before making a surprise move to Rhyl in the January 2008 transfer window. Released from Belle Vue the same summer, he returned to his first Welsh Premier club, Porthmadog, for one season before a switch to Airbus UK Broughton in June 2009. Made his 400th league appearance on 28 November 2009 at The Traeth, but left The Airfield in May 2010. |
