WPL career details for Dave Roberts

Newtown AFC
Won two FA Youth Cup winner's medals with Liverpool in 2006 and 2007 but was surprisingly released from Anfield and joined Bangor City, leaving in January 2008 without making a Welsh Premier appearance and signing non-contract terms for Blue Square Premier outfit Weymouth. Signed for Aberystwyth Town in August 2008 but, after losing his place to Steven Cann the following season, was loaned to Newtown in January 2010. Recalled to Park Avenue on 31 March after an injury to Stephen Cann, but joined the Robins on a permanent basis in the summer. Moved to Prestatyn Town in June 2011 but, after a season at Bastion Gardens, rejoined Newtown a year later.
