A regular youth and reserve team player for Manchester City, Evans returned to Swansea to play for his home town club in January 2007. Capped for Wales at Under-17 level during his time at Manchester City, Evans joined Port Talbot Town on loan in August 2008. Released by Swansea he signed for Llanelli in August 2010 but was snapped-up by SPL outfit Kilmarnock in January 2011. After a brief stay at Rugby Park he returned to Llanelli but moved on to Haverfordwest County in August 2012. His time at the Bridge Meadow was spoiled by a hernia injury and he returned to Llanelli again in January 2013 as one of manager Bob Jeffrey's first signings.
